See how Scripture connects
The Bible as a graph: every verse, and every person, place, theme and word behind it, linked to the passages that carry them. Built only from public-domain Scripture and openly licensed scholarship, generated mechanically, and free of accounts, advertising and cookies. The map beside this page is all of it at once. Click any dot to open what it stands for. and tap any dot to open what it stands for.
- 12,751documents
- 90,564connections
- 31,102verses
- 341,289cross references
Connections are counted as distinct pairs of documents. The graph stores each link with a direction, so the raw edge total is higher (135,433) and says less.
Reading the map
The map beside this page(, or with Graph at the top) is the whole corpus at once, drawn as a bunch of grapes after John 15: one stem, many branches, all connected. The document for God hangs alone at the top. Everything else falls into a grape, the grapes run in canonical order from Genesis at the shoulders to Revelation at the tip, and inside each one the best-connected documents sit nearest the centre.
It is a composed layout rather than a settled simulation, so position tells you where a document belongs, not how it connects. A person named across twenty books still sits in one grape, whichever book names them most.
What is in it
66 books and 1,189 chapters of the Berean Standard Bible, which is in the public domain. Behind them sit 7 sources, 3 datasets, 1 schema. Every upstream dataset that made this is credited on the attribution page.
Across the testaments
341,289 cross references resolve to 141,124 links between chapters. 43,111 of them join a chapter in one testament to a chapter in the other, a little under a third of the whole corpus.
- crossing the testaments
- within one testament
The two directions are not mirror images: 29,564 references run from the New Testament back into the Old, against 42,692 the other way. See every one of them drawn at once →
Dated, and shown working
1 AH164 dated spans3,538 AH
- lifetimes
- reigns
- prophetic ministries
- judgeships
Lifetimes, reigns, judgeships and ministries, dated in anno hominis (AH), years counted from Creation, because that is the frame the source computes in. Each one shows the arithmetic that produced its boundaries, so you can check it. Browse the chronology →
Where the sources disagree
777 of 1,342 places have more than one proposed modern location. Rather than pick one, every candidate is listed with the support behind it. Bethel 1, named in 69 verses, has three:
- Beitin716
- Al Bira99
- Burj Beitin5
One name, many people
482 names are borne by more than one person, so every person carries a number and none of them are merged.

What it does not claim
- Nothing here has been read by a person. Every document is generated from its sources and every trust signal in the data is a mechanical check.
- Cross references carry no meaning. The corpus records that two passages are connected, never why. Where the data does not say, neither does this site.
- Places are proposals, not answers. Competing identifications are shown with their support rather than resolved.
- Nothing was written by a language model. There is no commentary here, and no theological position beyond the ordinary Protestant canon the sources use.
Take the data
All of it is available as a free, keyless, CORS-open REST API, and as an MCP server you can point an assistant at. The underlying bundle is plain markdown you could read without any of this.
