• Start — Genesis 11:22. The year of Nahor (son of Serug)'s birth is the year his father, Serug, was born (1821) + the age of his father at Nahor (son of Serug)'s birth (30) = 1851
• End — Genesis 11:25. The year of Nahor (son of Serug)'s death is the year his son, Terah, was born (1880) + the years Nahor (son of Serug) lived after his son's birth (119) = 1999

Terah lived seventy years, and became the father of Abram, Nahor and Haran. (GEN 11:26) Terah was at least 70 years old when Abram was born. The days of Terah were two hundred and five years; and Terah died in Haran. (GEN 11:32) Terah died in Haran at the age of 205 in Haran. Now Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. (GEN 12:4) Terah was 205 when he died in Haran and Abram (aged 75) left Haran when Terah died (Acts 7:4). This means Terah was 130 when Abram was born.
