Notes

The file states its own dedication: "This text of God's Word has been dedicated to the public domain." Licensing is not required for any use. Verses omitted on critical-text grounds (Matt 17:21, Mark 9:44, Acts 8:37 and others) are present as EMPTY strings rather than absent — the verse slot always exists, so numbering never shifts. Two exports of the same translation are taken. The plain text carries the wording and is what the ## Text section quotes byte for byte; the USFM edition carries everything the plain text cannot express — where a paragraph starts, how a psalm is lineated, what a section is called, and which words inside a verse are spoken by Christ. Structure is recorded as metadata in x-bk.structure rather than as markup in the body, so the quoted text stays identical to its source. A third export, the translation tables, carries the word-by-word join between the English and the Hebrew or Greek it renders: this is a REVERSE interlinear, ordered by the English, which is what makes it possible to tap a word on the page and be shown the word behind it.
